The method
Honest advice, not flattery.
HAIRLY is built to tell you when a haircut is a bad idea. Here's exactly what happens between uploading a selfie and walking into the salon.
01
What we read from your photo
Face shape and proportions, hair texture (straight, wavy, curly, coily), density, hairline pattern and forehead height. That's the raw material every recommendation is built on.
02
How the score is built
Each style is scored on four axes — face-shape harmony, texture fit, maintenance realism and the growth or length required. Those combine into a single suitability score out of 100, with the trade-offs spelled out instead of hidden.
03
The visual preview
The preview edits only your hair: shape, length and styling. Face, skin, expression, clothing and background stay untouched, so what you see is your face with a different cut — not someone else's.
04
The salon brief
Every analysis ends with plain language you can send to a barber or stylist: lengths, sections, texture notes and the products that make it hold.
Credits, plainly
- · A full analysis with score, trade-offs and salon brief: 1 credit.

Your photos
Selfies and generated previews are stored in private buckets that only your account can read. Nothing is public, nothing is shared, and you can delete an analysis from your dashboard at any time.
